Street Naming & Renumbering Authority
The London Borough of Havering has now completed the Renumbering & Renaming of the Estate.
You will have received confirmation letters from London Borough of Havering and Royal Mail.
We have completed updating the Estate location boards and provided additional small road signs. To further assist, we have installed 12” x 12” numbered plaques at all business locations.
We are currently in the process of updating the Estate website.
Phase 7 Completion & Future Maintenance Works
The recent Phase 7 Safety and Maintenance works to the Estate infrastructure has now almost reached completion, successfully keeping disturbance to the businesses and stateholders to the absolute minimum.
Roadtechs and the Estate Management Team would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding throughout the works and trust everyone is benefiting from a safer and well maintained vehicular and pedestrian network.
Over the next 6-12 months, we will be undertaking a more in depth look at the sustainability of the existing carriageway and exploring the future requirements to maintain the standard of infrastructure we all expect. This will involve exploratory minor coring works (150mm to 200mm diameter) to determine the condition and life expectancy of the existing carriageway make up. The extracted samples will be tested, and the results analysed. Roadtechs will present the findings along with any potential future repair / maintenance plans, for the Management Team’s considerations.
In the meantime, we are exploring options to undertake minor reactive emergency repairs in-house as they occur. Roadtechs will be providing the required training, materials and equipment to enable this to take place quickly and efficiently. Roadtechs will continue to monitor the network condition and provide support and services for any larger repair works that materialise.
50% match funding is always sought from the London Riverside BID for all projects.

Security
DO NOT LEAVE ANY ITEMS OF VALUE OUTSIDE OF UNITS, DO NOT LEAVE KEYS IN VEHICLES AND AVOID LEAVING VEHICLES UNATTENDED!!!!
WE CONFIRM WE ACTIVELY DISCOURAGE UNMARKED VEHICLES/VANS FROM ENTERING THE ESTATE. THERE HAVE BEEN RECENT INCIDENTS WHERE UNAUTHORISED VEHICLES HAVE ENTERED THE ESTATE AND PROCEEDED TO REMOVE ITEMS FROM SKIPS/OUTSIDE OF PREMISES.
WHEN ASKED TO LEAVE, THE INDIVIDUALS CAN BECOME ABUSIVE / THREATENING.
UNFORTUNATELY, ON OCCASIONS THESE VEHICLES/VANS HAVE BEEN INVITED ONTO THE ESTATE BY BUSINESSES TO REMOVE RUBBISH ETC.
HOWEVER, WE WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT IF YOU CAN AVOID INVITING THESE INDIVIDUALS ONTO THE ESTATE.
In general, crime on the Estate appears to be under control. All mobile patrol vehicles are fitted with on board cameras, on board tracking and panic buttons. The mobile patrol guards are fitted with body cameras
There is a WhatsApp group operated by the Estate’s Security, and the Estate’s Management team that allows a prompt response when dealing with any incidents or issues.
The Fairview Industrial Park gatehouse/mobile patrol is linked ot other Security companies in the London Riverside BID area and the SNT/Police

We are concerned at a practice which some occupiers carry out, for which we have received a number of complaints. This is burning of rubbish on the Estate. Burning of any items is both an environmental offence, is against the rules of the Estate and is set out in the Titles of all properties on the Estate. In most instances, in the stipulations, as set out in the fourth schedule of the Transfer document. As Estate owners we consider fires on the Estate to be an annoyance and nuisance to ourselves and other occupiers of the Estate (some occupiers frequently store hazardous goods).
