LATEST REPORT FROM RENEWI

This year Renewi have implemented some changes to the fly management plan from previous years and I am delighted to report we have had no fly complaints. This methodology will continue until the end of the season to ensure that numbers remain low overall.

The team will continue to work with the Fairview Estate team to ensure any concerns are dealt with and regular fly liaison meetings have resumed this year with face-to-face meetings in a Covid safe manner. The final meeting for this current year will take place in October.

We will continue to keep you informed of progress with any projects on site, in the meantime if you would like to contact us, you can do so on 01708 634540, or by email to

Gurjeet.Kaur-Assi@renewi.com

Techscreed Repair System

All repairs are surface applied solutions which, preserve the integrity of the existing footway and carriageway structure without the need to excavate and import large quantities of virgin materials.

The process provides an even surface profile alleviating trip hazards whilst also sealing the surface, preventing immediate damage from weather and further deterioration of the existing surfacing materials.

The quick and efficient installation process is undertaken with minimum disruption to the estate users.

The Techscreed material is designed, manufactured, supplied, and installed by local specialist surfacing contractor Roadtechs, who have been working with the Fairview Industrial Park Management team for last 3-4 years to improve and maintain the highway asset throughout the estate.

Further works will be taking place over the coming months, typically out of hours to reduce delays and disruption to all.

UNFORTUNATELY, ON OCCASIONS THESE VEHICLES/VANS HAVE BEEN INVITED ONTO THE ESTATE BY BUSINESSES TO REMOVE RUBBISH ETC.

In general, crime on the estate appears to be under control.  All mobile patrol vehicles are fitted with on board cameras, on board tracking and panic buttons. The mobile patrol guards are fitted with body cameras

There is a WhatsApp group operated by the Estate’s Security, businesses who have access to a mobile phone are included in the group.
